Privacy policy – Information sheet pursuant to GDPR Regulation EU 2016/679

We wish to inform you that the GDPR Regulation EU 679/2016 ("European Regulation on the protection of personal data") provides for the protection of persons and other subjects regarding the processing of personal data. According to the law, this treatment will be based on principles of correctness, lawfulness and transparency and protection of your privacy and your rights. According to article 13 of GDPR Regulation EU 679/2016, therefore, we inform you that:

 

Purposes of the processing:

Equo Garantito association informs that the personal data in its possession, collected directly from the interested party, for the performance of its activities and the execution of any contractual relationship, may also be processed by third-party companies named "Managers" for the following purposes:

1. Promotion of Fair Trade as defined and described by the Italian Charter of Fair Trade Criteria.

2. Information, communication, sharing and dissemination of services and products related to personal and professional training.

3. Networking activities.

4. Detection of the degree of user satisfaction on the quality of the services and of the activity of the e-learning platform, and / or of some thematic research carried out through personal interviews, questionnaires, surveys, etc.

5. Non-personal data are used to improve the quality and usefulness of services by carrying out statistical analyses of the characteristics and behaviour of users, demographics and interests concerning specific areas of the platform.

6. Purposes strictly connected and instrumental to the creation of relationships with customers (for example, acquisition of preliminary information for the conclusion of a contract, execution of operations based on the obligations of the concluded contract, etc.).

 

Legal basis of processing:

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is based on the fulfilment of the associative and contractual obligations.

 

Legitimate interests pursued by the Data Controller:

The legitimate interests pursued by the Data Controller in the processing of data consist in having to respect and honour the membership and contractual obligations signed between the parties. Pursuant to art. 6 the lawfulness of the processing is based on the written express consent of the interested party. 

 

Storage times

The data you provide will be kept for as long as necessary, and unless otherwise provided by law, can be stored up to a maximum of 5 years after the completion of the assignment.

 

Existence of an automated decision-making process

There is no automated decision-making process, the data you provide will not be used for digital and automated profiling, but advanced systems are used for sending communications about events or social communications related to Fair Trade.

 

Personal Data

Equo Garantito Association collects personal data that you provide when you register for an account, update or modify account information, purchase products or services, complete a survey, register for email updates or online courses, participate in public platform forums, send e-mail messages and / or participate in online courses or other services on the site. Equo Garantito Association may use the personal data provided to respond to your questions, provide the selected course and / or services, send updates on online courses offered by Fair Share training or other Equo Garantito events and send e-mail messages about website maintenance or updates.

 

Account registration.

If you register for an account on our site, you are required to provide Equo Garantito with personal data such as your name and email address.

 

Updates

Fair Share training may propose updates by email or by publishing them in the Login area for the registered users. In order to subscribe to these services, you may be required to provide Equo Garantito with personal data such as your name and email address.

 

Participation in online courses

Equo Garantito offers Fair Share training users the opportunity to participate in online courses on the platform. If you wish to participate in a course, you may be asked to provide some information that are needed to conduct the course. This information may include, among other things, your name and email address. If you participate in an online course, Equo Garantito may collect from you some content produced as a student, for example tasks sent to teachers, feedback for other students, answers to quizzes and surveys.

 

Communications with Fair Share Training

Equo Garantito may receive personal data when you send an e-mail to Fair Share Training or contact the platform in any other way.

 

Third-party websites

Fair Share may receive personal data when you log in or log-in to a third-party site, such as Facebook, from Fair Share itself. This may include text and / or images of personal data available on the third-party website.

 

Surveys

Equo Garantito may receive personal data when you provide information in response to a survey conducted by Fair Share Training itself.

Partner websites providing tools and services related to online courses for Fair Share Training users may collect individual non-financial user data related to the use of that partner site while engaged with such online course activities, and partner websites may share such data with Fair Share Training in order to improve Fair Share Training services, partner website services and the individual's educational experience. This data includes information such as the amount of time spent on the partner website and the visited pages.

 

Data transfer to third countries

The Data Controller will not transfer your personal data to a third country or to an international organization; in case of activities that are part of Fair Trade development and promotion programs, only the needed data will be processed for these activities and they will not be used for other purposes.

 

Data processing of minors

Data from children under 18 are not collected and processed.

 

Method of processing

The data will be processed, in compliance with the necessary security and confidentiality, through the following procedures: data collection at the interested party, in case of initiatives, the Privacy Policy will be available and the relative consent will be collected.

The data are collected and recorded for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes and used in further processing operations in compliance with these purposes. The data will be processed primarily with electronic and computerized tools and stored both on computer, on paper and on any other type of suitable support, in compliance with the provisions of the RE 679/2016 concerning adequate security measures.

 

Mandatory or optional nature of the data provision and consequences of a refusal to respond:

Data provision is mandatory because only the essential data for the registration to the digital training platform are requested; the refusal, even partial, to provide such data could result in the failure or only partial execution of the registration.

 

Communication of data to third parties:

Third parties may manage this personal data as managers or as appointed collaborators. We also inform you that your personal data may be communicated for the processing (always in compliance with the aforementioned security and confidentiality measures) related to:

 

• public bodies in charge (social security institutions, ministry of finance, etc.), accredited bodies;

• DONORS for the purposes of reporting on some projects’ activities;

• trade associations (WFTO, WFTO-Europe and other institutional bodies of fair trade), for legal and / or statutory obligations;

• Professional studies (accountant and job consultant, etc.).

Exercise of rights by the interested party

Pursuant to article 13, paragraph 2, letters (b) and (d), 15, 18, 19 and 21 of the Regulations, the interested party is informed that:

a) he has the right to ask the Data Controller to access personal data, correct or delete them or limit the processing of their personal data or to refuse its processing in the cases provided for;

b) he has the right to lodge a complaint with the Guarantor for the protection of personal data, following the procedures and indications published on the official website of the Authority on www.garanteprivacy.it;

c) any correction or cancellation or limitation of the processing requested by the interested party - unless this proves impossible or involves a disproportionate effort - will be communicated by the Data Controller to each of the recipients to whom the personal data have been transmitted. The Data Controller may inform the interested party of these recipients if the interested party requests it.
